Clockwork Angel Review

!Book Review!

My Rating= 5/5

Yay, i just finished Clockwork Angel in preparation for City Of Heavenly Fire!!!
Okie Dokie let's make this happen.
I know that many people have read this novel so spoilers can be said , BUT i can name way to many people who haven't read this book so this is SPOILER FREE!

Overall Thoughts:
I absolutely LOVED this book, i love the world the characters and even the writing style, i get lost in this world so easily, i crave Cassandra Clare's writing and i cannot believe that this series of books is coming to close soon. I'm definitely picking up the second instalment in this series and i recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a unique world and a bunch or supernatural characters!

Setting/World:
The setting of this novel as well as the series after are based in a world which many call the Shadow World...ooohh... this world consists of the mysterious stories we grow up listening to around camp fires, we have the Vampires, Werewolves, Warlocks, Demons and even Fairies! all of these creatures fill up the world which Cassandra Clare beautifully wove together calling it the Shadow World, but these creatures are not alone, we also get to read about Angels and their  offsprings which are the main focus throughout these novels, they are called Shadow hunters!
The main character which Cassandra Clare focused on is a young female called Tessa.
Tessa, was raised by her Aunt, and then ended up moving to London, when she moved there she was excepting to see her brother but unfortunately there was a change of plans for Tessa, she moved in with a pair of ladies called the Dark sisters. While she lived with the Dark Sisters she learnt a few tricks as she was tortured and forced to do jobs set by the evil siblings.

Characters
Some of the characters that we met during the book were so strong and significant that i have become obsessed with them:
Jem (Shadow Hunter)- is a young man whom helps Tessa around when they meet, Jem was so lovely and brilliant and awesome and so...swoon!! i fell in love with him straight away and he touched my heart repeatedly with his kindness.

Will (Shadow Hunter)- Oh Will oh Will oh Will, i loved at the start and then became very frustrated with him around the middle and then fell for him all over again! I loved his smart attitude even when i hated it and his emotion toward everything he did, he reminded me off my brother when he was so determined we would do it no matter what.

Tessa- Tessa is our main focal point in this book as we follow her journey and i was swept up and taken right with her, Cassie Clare put me right inside Tessa and allowed me to see everything Tessa did. Tessa's kind heart for the people she loves brought tears to my eyes and i cannot explain how excited i am to keep reading.

Charlotte (Shadow Hunter)- Charlotte is the lady behind the Institute ( a building that is a safe haven for Shadow hunters to live in), Charlotte endlessly pours her self over the Institute making sure that it's run properly, she is a major motherly figure in this book and loves every single person living under the roof of the Institute.

Henry (Shadow Hunter)- Henry is the Inventor the male who is continuously experimenting to create new things or improve old things, he's married to Charlotte but his feeling about the marriage dont ever explode on the paper telling us he's in love.

Jessamine (Shadow Hunter) - every novel will have a pre-Madonna, a beauty queen, authors just cant help themselves. Jessamine is our pre-Madonna she refuses to be a Shadow hunter because she is a lady, she will not do any dirty work nor would she wear Shadow Hunter gear because that means wearing pants and no lady can wear pants. even though Jessamine could be annoying i loved her character the way she was determined to exclude herself from the Shadow World and will herself to be a Mundane (a Mundane is what the Shadow World calls Humans)

Mortmain (Mundane)- Mr. Mortmain was character that was always calm and quiet and i didn't get a lot out of him until i was quite far into the book but he was very confident in what he did no matter what he was doing.

de Quincey (Vampire)- de Quincey was one of the evils in this book, he was suspected to have done something really bad, something that he could be killed for, de Quincey was an interest of mine while reading because he was seen as quite the devil. I thought de Quincey was very mysterious, he was the head of his vampire clan which was even worse for everyone around him. to be honest i dont have alot to say about de Quincey besides, i loved reading about him when he was in a scene.

Thomas,Sophie and Agatha (Mundanes)- even though these 3 character were not main characters i feel that i have to acknowledge them because i loved everything they did. they all serve the Institute. Thomas was taught how to fight like a Shadow hunter and fought well during battles, Sophie is the maid and servant for Jessamine but when Tessa arrived at the Institute,Sophie assited Tessa in every way she could. Agatha was mentioned the least in the book but none the less she served the Institte along side Thomas and Sophie.

RYBSAT-Results + Mini Reviews

Results from #RYBSAT The Read-Your-Book-Shelf-A-Thon, finished quite some time ago but because i've been super busy, I didn't have time to sit down and tell all of you guys how I went... But I didn't forget you! So here it is: I picked up Spellcaster my first book, and i loved it! it was a great blend of dramatic teens and a mysterious world which had magic and "spell casting" blended in with a great evil! So for Spellcaster i gave the novel a 4/5 The reason I didn't give it full stars is because i felt that the world didn't draw me further into the novel, nor did all the characters make me want to read it faster. But if you enjoy Magic and Swoon worthy men read Spellcaster My Second novel that i picked up, Steadfast ,  was my last for the RYBSAT journey but i loved it! i also gave this book a 4/5 while i was reading the book i had thought that this series was only a duology, but theres another book coming out in 2015 ( Sorceres...
